When it comes to caring for our elderly, Home Care Pharmacy WA understands the need for prompt, efficient and accurate medication supply and delivery.
As one of the only pharmacies in the state to utilise a Webstercare robotic packing machine, we can offer an unrivalled quality of service by a dedicated team of pharmacists and staff. Our Webster-paks are triple-checked before they are delivered which means the right medication for the right person. All Webster-paks have individual barcodes for scanning and auditing purposes with clear medication names and descriptions (including allergy notifications) and are printed with photo identification to completely assist carers in administering medications to the resident.
As part of our mission to continually improve our service, our pharmacists conduct regular meetings with Aged Care facility staff.
This ensures the ongoing strengthening of the relationship between our pharmacy and the facilities we cater for and provides opportunities for feedback and open communication.
Home Care Pharmacy WA offers free annual medication trolley audits. The pharmacy will ensure your medication trolley contains the correct medications to match the resident's medication profile. Audit also ensures any expired stock or ceased medications are removed from the trolley to prevent medication incidents. After audit, you will receive a report with any suggestions or ways to improve your processes. Audit’s are a helpful way to ensure your facilities successful accreditation.
We have a dedicated team of drivers to deliver our medications which means Aged Care facility staff will only be dealing with Home Care Pharmacy WA staff throughout the whole process.
We deliver 7 days a week, including Public Holidays, and make same day GP orders so residents are always receiving medications as they need them.
